Canvas Print – Andy Orr Moonshine Room

$80.00$166.00

Andy Orr was arguably the most notorious and industrious of the early outlaw moonshiners in WNC. Orr spent most of his life in Graham County N.C. where he was a member of the one of the most famous hunting clans to ever reside in the Great Smoky Mountains –the Orr family.

Orr realized at an early age that he had no use for farming, mining or any other typical manual labor, and devoted his life instead to hunting, fiddle playing and his Plott dogs. However, Orr had to find a way to fund these passions – and he found that in making and selling liquor.

Get a Canvas print of his pictures and a history written by Meadowlark Smoky Mountain Heritage Center GM Bob Plott. This is the same Canvas Print that hangs in our famous Moonshine Room at the Meadowlark Motel.
