Well y’all know there ain’t supposed to be a lot of rules up here in these mountains. But we reckon that without a few simple guidelines and policies, chaos quickly sets in. Do your part to preserving the peace in these hills by keeping these guidelines in mind when booking your stay at the Meadowlark Motel.

Front Desk Hours

Winter Hours: 7am to 9pm Sunday thru Thurs | 7am to 11pm Friday & Saturday
Summer Hours: 7am to 11pm Seven Days A Week.

No Smoking

We do  not allow smoking in our rooms and will charge $200 against your Credit Card Hold if you are found to have smoked in a room. We have large grounds where you can smoke at will.


Bring your furry four-legged family member with you to Meadowlark Motel in beautiful Maggie Valley, NC. Our pet-friendly accommodations are located just moments from the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and the Blue Ridge Parkway. Your pet will be warmly welcomed to our motel with dog treats at the front desk upon check-in. We also offer complimentary food and water bowls, if needed, during their stay.

We accept all major credit cards and offer AAA, AARP, Military, and event discounts.

Guarantees, Deposits and Holds

All reservations must be guaranteed with a valid credit card. We reserve the right to authorize your card for up to 1 day prior to arrival. If your card does not authorize, your reservation will be invalid and subject to cancellation by 6:00pm on day of arrival. An additional credit card hold will be assessed for incidentals at check-in. The hold will be released only after check-out and your room has been inspected, free of damages or any charges to the room.

Cancellation Policy

If you cancel up to 1 day before arrival, no money will be charged. If you cancel less than 24 hours prior to arrival, you will be charged for the entire first nights rate plus tax. There will be no refunds for early departures or no shows. Cancellations can be made by contacting our front desk or emailing your request to us. If you booked through a third party (Expedia, Booking.com, etc) please contact that company to cancel.

Handicap Accessibility

Most of our rooms are on the ground floor but do have slight steps up from the curb. There are a few rooms accessible by ramps. We will continually try to improve access as we renovate the motel.

Check-out is at 11am and Check-in is 3pm.
