Twelfth Fret is a 2-piece American classic rock and pop band from Sylva North Carolina, USA. The band formed in the summer of 2015 by a fun-loving husband and wife team who met along the intercostal waterway at a street festival in Thunderbolt, Georgia a community that is a part of Savannah, and who just couldn’t get enough Beatles, Tom Petty, and the great music of the 60s, 70s and 80s. Their unique brand of entertainment fuses acoustic Americana, classic rock and pop, and tight vocal harmonies with different nuances and witty stage banter and quips that will make you want to reflect on youthful memories, sing along and tap your feet. Hailed as western North Carolina’s consistently top-ranked local artist by Reverbnation, Twelfth Fret has performed over hundreds of shows and has headlined local and regional events and festivals. “One of our favorite and finest local acoustic guitar and bass duos…Twelfth Fret! They are truly amazing and thoroughly enjoyable…you don’t want to miss their performance! ” – Mark Pettit, Mountain Layers Brewing.
