Award winning author and GM of MSMHC, Bob Plott

Join us on for an entertaining, educational and fun afternoon and evening of history, food and music in Part II of our Heritage Book Series on March 26th, as award winning author and MSMHC GM, Bob Plott, discusses his second book — History of Hunting in the Great Smoky Mountains.   Plott goes back in time to offer readers a glimpse into the minds and weapons of the region’s most intrepid hunters. From the primitive weaponry and expert skill sets and legends of the ancient Cherokee, to the rollicking, audacious adventures of rifle toting ridge runners –and even man hunters – these stories are truly a gripping tribute to mountain life and the adventure of the game.

The program will be followed by a book signing and delicious BBQ dinner, culminating with music by Mike Ogletree and friends that evening.

The event is free to motel guests and Heritage Club members –admission of 10 dollars per person for all others.
