Len’s journey with songwriting and love of performing began in 1979.
A native of New England and a restless soul, Len traveled extensively in his quest to connect with people everywhere through song and storytelling.

From the rock clubs of Hartford and rustic stages in the Rocky Mountains to the sultry beach venues of Florida’s west coast, Len continued to adapt his music to an ever-widening audience.

Appearing on the Nashville Network’s “You Can Be A Star”, opening for “The Marshall Tucker Band” and performing an intimate set at the infamous “Bluebird Cafe” in Nashville were highlights in his career.

Now retired and a native son of Western North Carolina, Len continues to hone his craft and connect with a new mountain audience. His Americana-styled songs are personal, poignant, and powerfully soulful touching the hearts of his listeners deeply. He is often accompanied by pianist Amos Jackson whose arrangements add further beauty and depth of feeling to his compositions.

If you enjoy storytelling, finely crafted songs inspired by the colorful characters and beauty of the Smoky Mountains, some classic covers along with a voice that can deliver, come out and enjoy an intimate evening with Len. You’re sure to have a truly memorable experience.
