Rene Russell
Rene Russell is a 12-string guitarist, with a Southern-Folk-Rock percussive groove, She has been crafting her percussive, finger-picking style since she picked up the 12-string in 1972. A native of South Carolina, Rene Russell has been dazzling audiences with her brand of percussive Americana/Rock for the past 30+ years from Nashville to San Diego, Atlanta, Austin, Texas, and Charleston, SC. Rene now lives in Western NC where she plays solo and occasionally plays with the band for special shows.
Heidi Holton
Deep in the heart of Southern Appalachia, sounds from the Mississippi Delta echo through the lush mountain air, haunting the fretboard of Heidi Holton’s well-worn Gibson guitar. Original and fresh, traditional with a contemporary flair, Heidi is turning heads with her mastery of the music of the deep south. Her songwriting shines like the sweet glistening sweat on the brow of a Piedmont preacher behind the pulpit on a sultry Sunday afternoon. Following in the footsteps of guitar-slingers like Memphis Minnie and Reverend Gary Davis, Heidi Holton is making a name for herself in the international blues community. Popular demand keeps Heidi busy playing about 150 shows a year to a wide variety of audiences.
Bridget Gossett
Bridget Gossett is a singer-songwriter born in New Orleans and has lived in WNC for 20 years. She released her first solo, acoustic album earlier this year, Sell Everything. With sultry vocals, a steady rhythm, and a heart for the groove and the story, Bridget’s music offers relatability, authenticity, and a sense of interconnectedness.
